Folks, my apologies. @knife_hearth_woodfired_eatery is here Saturday, this week. Spankyβs Rollin Kitchen is here for a 3 day binge starting April 26th. The dates are correct on our FB Events Tab and Stories. or some unfathomable reason, known only to Meta, the dates were changed on our IG Stories... πππ₯

Spring, the little orchard is waking up. Dandelions, Wild Violet's, Purple Dead Nettle, and Henibit, these are the bees' early food. While some folks see them as pesky weeds, I see a beautiful meadow on this glen,. To each their own. . SlΓ inte! πππ₯

Made Wild violet Syrup and Dandelion Flower syrup today is super yummy
So ..... I deep fried some dandelions today. Not a lot to them, but reminded me of fried veggies at a carnival. Pretty good.
They feed our bees π

Are front yard is covered in dandelions with patches of wild violets. I will never spray chemicals and refuse to mow them down till I know there are ample flowers out there to support the bees. οΏΌοΏΌ

I couldn't agree more. Here's where I got mine! Binhoboard.com . You can even get custom boards made- it would be cool to see the Tattiebogle logo in the center, with the cream and cranberry (you know what I mean) company colors throughout the field. π
The Maple Tree says, "blue skies and a warm afternoon ahead" The barn doors will be open, come have a sip or two. It's going to be a fun day. SlΓ inte! ππππ₯

How cool is this? It is way better than sleeping in a tent, while riding the Great Allegheny passage bike trail. Adventure Lodging are great hosts. Book now.Only a few weeks away from adding a fully customized Airstream as a lodging option to the GAP trail π² π
